These days, I live and work by a life-first philosophy.
I’ve just come back from a beautiful four days in Spain, where I joined a 3-day retreat—and I’m feeling more aligned and grounded than I have in ages. It reminded me how good life (and business!) can feel when you let things be simple.
But let me be honest—it wasn’t always this way.For years (probably decades!), I was a bit addicted to the hustle. You know the feeling… chasing goals, working harder and harder, constantly trying to prove something. Sound familiar?
Then something shifted. And that shift came from learning to listen to what I now call the nudges.

The Day I Remembered Where It All Started

A few months ago, while visiting family in Australia, I was walking to the beach in Fremantle when I glanced across the road and bam—a full-body déjà vu hit me.
There it was: The Meeting Place.
The meeting place.
I was instantly transported 35 years back to my 24-year-old self. I was a fresh-faced naturopathic student back then, walking into that same community centre with nothing but a gut feeling and a vague idea.I found someone who worked there and said, “Hi, how do I run a workshop here?”
They asked me, “What would you like to teach?”
I replied, “Wellness.”
They said, “Great! We’ll bring the people. We can’t pay you, but we’d love to have you.”And just like that, my business was born.It started with a nudge… and a simple ask.

You Don’t Need Total Clarity. Just the Nudge.

So often we wait for the perfect plan or crystal-clear clarity before we move forward. But honestly? You don’t need all the answers.
You just need the courage to follow the nudge.Whether it’s reaching out to someone, starting that programme, or finally launching your VIP day offer—the nudge is enough. And when you follow it, you create space for the most beautiful synchronicities.
That little inner tug has led me to things I never could’ve planned for:
  • Shifting from €60 single sessions to €2,500+ coaching packages
  • Creating online programs and masterminds
  • Being featured in national press, going on TV, and doing not one but two TEDx talks
  • Hosting international retreats, live events, and almost 100 VIP Days
  • And most importantly… working with the most wonderful, soul-aligned clients

The Nudges Still Lead Me

Even now, after all these years, I still follow the nudges. Sometimes I’ll feel a little whisper telling me to reach out to someone. Not in a salesy way—just a gentle prompt.
I’ll send a message or an email. Sometimes I hear nothing back. But more often than not, I’ll get a reply like:

“I’ve been sensing you’re the coach to help me grow my business. Can we chat?”

The connection is mutual. The energy flows both ways. This is the beauty of building a coaching business from alignment instead of force. You get coaching clients not from pushy strategies, but from following your intuition and allowing the right people to find you.
